Hello everybody,
I've bought 4gb of 2000mhz ram alongwith a hexacore amd+gigabyte 890gpaud3h mobo.
my bios is showing 1333mhz as ram speed...
any solution or a way to make this ram run in 2000 mhz speed?
thanks
saiki

Please can you tell your configuration in greater detail.
@ OP - yep, tell us what cpu and mobo you have ?
Post CPU-Z screen Shot of your CPU/Mobo/Memory and SPD tab as well.
Machine config:
Proccy- AMD 1055T
MObo- gigabyte 890GPA UD3H
Ram- Corsair xms3 4GB 2000Mhz Ram
GPU- ATI 5850HD 1GB
HDD- 1TB seagate
Monitor- Dell ultrasharp 2311H
UPS- APC 1.1KV
While booting up: RAM speed is "1333 Mhz(Unchanged Mode)"
Thats the line.
Thanks
Saiki
what cpu-z is showing you as ram speed ?? I remember when even I set speed to 880 Mhz bootup screen was showing it as 667 Mhz but it was running at 880 Mhz anyway - verified by bios settings and cpu-z.
your mobo supports max mem speed of 1866Mhz ( OC ) - so I don't think it's possible to get 2000 Mhz even with OC.
For now try these :
Update the mobo Bios
Post the CPU-Z CPU and memory tab screenshot - it's very important !
