1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans: Playing Crysis 3, BF3, HD MOVIE WATCHING,SELDOM RENDERING,MS OFFICE WORK.

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans: 40k

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: NO

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: WIN7 64 BIT

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: 500GB

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans: YES, 1080P AT LEAST

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: NOTHING

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: IN NEXT WEEKEND

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: BY AN ASSEMBLER

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: KOLKATA/ YES/YES

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: Getting confused betwn AMD & INTEL as the system is a punch of all(gaming rendering working). Needs to be future proof as much as possible.

Its simple. The 650 ti 2 GB is the Clear winner.

But the card is extremely overpriced... Its priced at 11.5K .

Yeah. AT that price, HD7850 is also available. And prices may come down for that too

Wait for some time and HD 7790 from Sapphire would be priced at 10k . You can consider this too.

Currently Asus 7790 is available in MD at 11K. However, I will ask for a little patience, at least end of this month. On that time there is a chance of FX-6300 to be launched in India. Also, 650 ti boost might be available, just guessing in this case.

> Gaming GOUs can easily work in Autocad or any other software employing GPU computing.

> Special GPUs (such as Nvidia's Quadro, Tesla and ATI's FirePower) are available which give better price to performance ratios. You are perfectly fine with gaming GPUs.

7770 is not a wise choice ( a bad choice actually) for 1080p gaming. Especially for games like crysis 3, it is seriously underpowered and not a future proof card.
Minimum 2gb vram should be considered. I suggest to wait for cards like 650-ti boost. They are faster than 7850.

If not, then grab the 7850 2gb atleast. Also wait for 6300 as cilus suggested as it will lower the overall budget.

Yes 7850 2gb is the bare minimum nowadays OP can consider 7790 too in that budget much (over all) better than 7770 and based on GCN architecture.

@op go with intel rig over amd as you will save 3k extra for amd mobo which can be invested in better gpu like gtx 650ti,hd 7790 or hd 7850.

hd 7770 is not good choice for 1080p
The Incinerator
Apr 24, 2013 at 10:23 AM
For 1080p nothing less than a GTX660 will do honestly, let alone Crysis3, any 2012 game onward with minimum decent eye candy on,you would require a GTX660 and up.

i know that this card is not up to the mark but the concerned guy is having a budget of 10 k only. so he has no choice.

that config was for your friend.for his tight budget,he can only get hd 7770.

and see his resolution * 1600*900 so hd 7770 can handle game at his res.

i said hd 7770 is not good for 1080p for you as new games like crysis 3 can struggle with it and in your budget you can get hd 7850

as i said above go with intel config as you will save money and can add better gpu .
