Recently i was told by a laptop store personnel that 9 cell batteries are no more in the market... I would like to know why its so as more the no. of cells more the back up time.. why 9 cell batteries are no more..
9-cell battery
i not think so. 9cell batteries are still available. maybe he heard some odd news.
yup, 9-cell batteries are very much out there.
the trend now is 8 cell battery
> 3 cell batteries are out there. 8 or 9. Most standard non-desktop systems come with a 3 cell one, which is quite lousy.
ok.. nice to hear that 9 cell batteries are still there... my second doubt is not still cleared..."MORE THE NUMBER OF CELLS MORE THE BACK-UP TIME" -Is it ok??
yes, in simple terms. but do check at the wattage of the battery.
Moreover that the battery you buy should be compatible with your unit.
Example : Battery model 1234
Compatible with : models a,b,c.
This should be listed specifically.
