I need to purchase a new lappy with some good GPU... most of my work will be related to video editing and sound editting, I will also play some latest dx11 title on the lappy.

It should have a decent bttry backup and decent build quality.
I am very much confused by so many choices.
Plz help ASAP

thanx :)

I think you are talking about HP DV4 3016TX, not DV6. LINK.
It sure is a very VFM laptop for gaming.

Or if the budget permits, 6140TX would be a better option.

3016tx is good, i can personally vouch for that. but the speakers are crappy. audible distortion above a certain level and all that dolby this... and altec that... is marketing gimmick...

but great for gaming and other uses.
fast, responsive. cool and good looking too.

you might want to have a look at the 3015tx though
comes with an i3 , which is more than sufficient for anything less than really stressful applications.. and it'll probably improve the battery life too. goes at abt 38k i think. thats 4k saved for something else, say ram or a faster hdd :)
