recently, after the boot up an error message appears.

"this application failed to start because vADVAP132.dll was not found.reinstalling the same may solve the problem"

my os win xp pro sp3.

I have tried, sfc and reinstalling the ADVAP132.dll from a download source.

I am not able boot with xp cd for a repairing, eventhough bios is configured to boot so.

my cd drive of the note book is damaged as such using an external usb drive.

can anyone guide?

Try running in safe mode and if you can then restore your PC to previous state.

Try these solutions mentioned here

i also think system restore should take care of the Problem

I guess your source itself is corrupted.

Try googling the missing file. And if you think its not necessary and doesnt hamper any other software then, use a startup manager like C cleaner to disable the app which needs it. It should stop the error to pop up, during system startup.

I have tried my best to avoid this annoying pop up during start up.

the above dll is there in my system 32. I had deleted the same and reinstalled again as suggested by google search.

I have c cleaner and can anyone tell me as to how can I disable this using ccleaner?
