A big hi after long time Pals!!!

Now that Iv'e got a job, working as a system admin, i am bugged by one problem....

let me put it this way... we have around 1500 users on our n/w..we are using win2k prof... users go for a break by locking a workstation...they come back and found alt + crtl + delete not working.... they call us... we find keybord working fine...but only alt + crtl + delete wont respond...we have to restart the system...user loses his all data...

any solution guys????

i dont get it .. it's weird

u say that .. you lock computer using "winkey+L" or "C+A+D then enter"
and then you cannot unlock it or
or is it that .. you can unlock it .. but C+A+D combination doesnt work

try CTRL+SHIFT+ESC
and visit: *www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_t.htm
scroll down to "task manager" .. see if any of this helps

I dont think its too confusing as u r saying its as simple as that when user locks his pc by pressing c+a+d it gets locked but when he comes back & wants to unlock his workstation the c+a+d wont respond....

and i dont think pressing crt+shift+esc works when you lock your workstation...
