both the 6600 and the 6200 r available only in the agp 8x versions..also their cost is 12k and 5k...how much more will their pci-e verions cost and will there be remarkable diff in the performance...?
but my budget is 9k...i need a decent card in this range..or shall i just leave things to the onboard GeForce 6150 on the ASUS A8N VM-CSM?
1. SLI is a technology with which you can use two identical G cards to theroetically double the performance. It can also work with a single card.

2. Dual core is the technology of having two cores in a single package for better performance, multiprocessing etc.

3. Dual Layer DVD has two recording dye layers on the same side so that it can contain/record almost double the data, say 8.5 GB. Almost all DVD writers available nowadays are DL capable.

If you are using A8N VM-CSM why should you search for an AGP card which will not fit into your board which has a PCIe slot. Good PCIe cards are more easily available and will be within your budget and it will be cheaper in your local store than in online stores like itdepot.com. Whether you need it or not depends on the applications you run on your PC.
