You sure about this? 8800GT for 6K???

if yes, go for it. It will definitely beat HD4650 or HD4670. It's competitor is HD4850 and if you can pay 10k, go for HD4850.

Thats a good move by ATi. This will surely kick 9500's a$$.
Btw, when are they launching 4850X2?

^^ No date mentioned. I don't think they will release 4850 X2 anytime soon. It will become serious competitor to HD4870 and will be available for lower price and this would effect sales of HD4870. I doubt if they would ever release this card coz it's totally unnecessary at this point of time.

But if they do release it, then all prices will come down by a huge margin:)

Yep. but it will be a really bad move for ATI and their own product will suffer :)

AFAIK, they will get more profit on selling 1unit of HD4870 than on selling 1unit of HD4850x2

^^There sure is a card like that by NVIDIA.

AFAIK Gigabyte model costs 30k. Better not think about it. :D

And guys, 9500GT was never a success :|. People still buying 8600GT over it.
