An Apple fanboy’s birthday fantasy come true
Posted on Feb. 13, ’08, 4:01 PM PT by Aayush Arya

Till today, the most fanboy-ish thing I’d ever done was stick an Apple sticker on my forehead for about five minutes and run around the house trying to impersonate Steve Jobs. Suffice it to say that this act wasn’t very well received among the civilized humans I live with and my love for Apple hadn’t dared to peek out of its little closet in the corner of my heart since then.

But then my birthday came along and someone showed me a picture of an Apple logo shaped cake. There is a threshold for how much allurement my fanboy instincts can withstand and on seeing that tempting piece of sweet goodness, the suppressed demon burst forth and claimed center stage once again. I had to have an Apple logo cake for my birthday. Read more...

This beats every weird cake ever, including the one in that episode of F.R.I.E.N.D.S that had one shaped like an .. erm... um... male reproductive organ.

You and your Vista installs !!!

You better NOt to install vista on every system you come across. If you keep on installing, the 'install CD' will get corrupted when you go for 'real install' ;)

So take care.

Giga, kissing leopard, LOL :D That was really funny.

Hey arya, how about distributing Himachali Apples when you'll turn twenty, next year. They would cost you a lot there in West Bengal (Siliguri is in WB, right?). I can send you a peti of apples from here, Himachal, but you'll have to pay the courier charges :D:D:D

Ya, absolutely, they'll be from high altitude, where there is snow for 4 months, that makes them more resistant to heat.

Are you serious about this offer?

It's a shame I'm not a big fan of Apples. Thank you very much for the offer though!

I'll probably ask my mother if she actually wants them or something, I might ask you to buy them for me. You'll do it, right? (I'll pay for the Apples as well as the courier and all the other charges that you might incur.) :)

@arya ya if you insist, but only in the next season that will start sometimes after June, no need for paying for apples (consider them as a gift) or as a thanx for me, because your Fast Track to Mac helped me a lot. I mean to say that my friend has a Macbook, but i know more than him about Macs.
