Can any one give me such a program to generate this output??? I wanna this wihthout using of arrays. Very truely, a typical task for me. :twisted:

(1,16,15,14,13 in first column, 2,17,24,23,12 in second column, 3,18,25,22,11 in third column, 4,19,20,21,10 in fourth column, 5,6,7,8,9 in fifth column.)

Have to try to do it without using arrays, but the pattern there is simple, its an inward spiral of consecutive numbers, aka, a 5x5 inward spiral matrix.

How, i can't because you are not allowed to use any graphical functions in it. So how can i go back to these locations. (i.e. without using goto or any other function like this).
