Thanks for the info

$500 for 32 GB .... it will shoot up to 28-30K in india , very expensive mainly cause of flash memory. I always thought of presenting my dad with touch but alas its very expensive

FWIW, the eight and sixteen gigabyte models are still available.

If iPhone is available for 500$(Rs.20K) in India with 32GB Flash Memory, I might call it VFM

Oh c'mon, that's too darn expensive. It should be available for no more than $60 in order to qualify as being value for money.

my dads MP3 collection is 23GB+

this is why apple products sucks... i mean in terms of sale.. though foreign people will buy it, it must still be able to reach a common man in countries like india..

i hope it will reach us fast and with affordable price tag...*farm3.static.flickr.com/2028/2123380002_ec73f8668a_o.png

Why do you have to patronise these "foreign people"? They are just as "common" as we Indians are.

but the currency conversion will beat the Indians down

i think , still it is not right time to buy/use iphone in india.....
wait....
