when this model Asus G501JW will be released in INDIA, any idea guys.

have cute looks..may be works for medium gaming.

yeah, i am considering that option too. concerned about warranty. does Asus provide international warranty? after a long time, i started looking for something for myself. have no idea about warranty these days.:)

You can have a look at this. Except for SSD, it should be good enough:

ASUS GL551JW-DS71 15.6" Core i7-4720HQ/16GB DDR3/1TB HDD/NV GTX 960M ROG Laptop

yeah saw that..it is li'l bulky. G501Jw is very thin. I carry my laptop a lot, so i prefer lighter one. I dont want to upgrade my lappy in near term, hence going for mid range.

BTw, need clarification. can we get warranty on Laptop bought in US in India?

G501Jw comes out to be 1.5L+. If you can spend that much, look for MSI alternatives and see if anyone of them fits your preference or not.

Regarding your second question, ASUS has global warranty so I believe you should be good. But please clarify the same from ASUS customer care once to be on the safer side.

1.5Lac, i dont think so, here i am getting it for around 1 lakh. My friend in US is getting much better deal at around 95K. May be if i wait for another three months, i may get it at 90K. I am ok with 90K. Thanks for inut anyway.
