How many of you have read Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged?
It is one of the most influential books which speaks almost every individual's mind. This thread is for discussion on Atlas Shrugged and Ayn Rand's other works...

The Fountainhead is indeed a little boring...Atlas Shrugged is better. Do give it a try.

Really? But most people tell, to appreciate Ryand's work, you have to first give The Fountainhead a read first and then move to Atlas. As of now, I really don't have the time, but I guess I'll try when I get my hands on it. Can you suggested any other books on the same genre please? It shouldn't be too slow.

Well, I'm afraid I can't recommend you about books on that genre, since I'm a beginner myself here. But I remember my friend appreciating The Castle by Frenz Kafka. It's a little more away from the normal styles of writing. But he regarded it as a masterpiece. I suppose you can try.
