My mom is using Nokia 3230 from last 3-4 years. Recently it gets discharged very fast and sometimes even if battery is charged it switch off automatically, how can i know about its battery life is over or is there any s/w or h/w problem .

3-4 years is a long time. Your battery is most probably dead by now. Get a new one.

Its better not to get the china ones.Get the Original.The so called cheap china ones get damaged quickly and u wont get any support for it too.

When i ask 4 the BL-5B battery in nokia priority center they told it will cost me around Rs. 1580. Is it same or they are telling too high.
Try some other shops too like the Mobile Store, etc. if there is one nearby.
