Hey guys i need ur help again..!!
i dont know how to express my gratitude for ur all quick and crrect responses u made on my issues previously..!!
My problem has started again and i am just too much depressed coz of this problem..
battlefield on my PC has started lagging again and this time my FPS is dropping to 10-12 randomly from 65-70
What the hell is happening i dont know whether its my Hardware problem or some sort of softwares. but it lags too much and i am forced to close the game as it cant be played in that situation(10-12 FPS,u can imagine!!). this issue occured previously but u guys helped me & it was sorted out & now its back again. My PC Specs are as follows:-
Motherboard- Foxconn H55MXV-AH
Ram- 6 gb
Processor- intel core i3-530
Graphics- Asus ENGTX 560Ti Direct CUII
Although formatting my PC didnt helped and game's fps dropped to 15-20 on newly installed windows too..
Previously when i had issues i tried removing my RAM's and Reinserting 'em again and it was fixed but this time i tried everything:
Removing and reinserting rams..!!
Formatted my windows..!!
ran a memory test from BOOT menu..
updated my drivers..
and bla bla..
plz help me fix it as i am going to bangalore this month and i would be unable to play it for nearly 1.5 months..
thanx in advance..!!

oh alrite. But i wouldn't suggest an i3 for battlefield 3, its way too weak to handle such a game.
btw, tried updating the video drivers?

3g is not reliable for gaming. ping will spike which will result in fps drops.

kaspersky internet security gave me some problems with battlefield and origin so I uninstalled it. after that I dont get many connection errors.

check whether you have the problem while playing bf3 campaign and other single player games.

I face frame drops in the following cases..
1. high ping.
2. when I run on ultra settings..
3. if there are more background apps
4. Lag spikes from server end.

I noticed this recently..

I was playing campaign two days ago.. I set the resolution to 1080p, ultra , the game play was smooth.. but dropped to <30 during explosions.. so I reduced the resolution a little and it was fine..

Later I joined a low ping server.. and the game lagged heavily.. changing the setting in game didnt work.. though it reflected in the options/setting.

I had to go back to SP and change the settings there..

try at 720p resolution and check ..

also take backup of PROF_SAVE_profile and delete it from C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Battlefield 3\settings\

this holds all the settings.. when you start the game again it will be recreated and will have default values, then chose custom and set all values to medium/high and start with 720P and go up.. leave AA and other setting to low/off.. you can tweak with them later.

check this things.. ill get back to you on the other points in a couple of minutes

coming to lag.. I recently spoke to a Admin of a BF3 server.. he said there is something called lag spikes which occur in the server end.. this is due to the fact that the server is now able to process the information coming from the clients(i.e., you guys) .. this occurs even on low ping server. in this case the server is not powerfull enough to host the games.

Next is ping.. I get good gameplay even with a 200ms+ servers... I was very reluctant in joining those server, but now a days .. its not a problem.. most of the European servers are good.

next is the internet connection.. this plays a huge role in the experience.. I feel that currently your connection might have a problem, this might be a temporary problem with your ISP.. check with Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test and Pingtest.net - The Global Broadband Quality Test

also if you have a secondary 3G connection then check with that also.

the line is bad but that should not cause stuttering in single player. if single player is also lagging, then it's probably gfx issue. do you have any other games ?

search in battlelog forums. other ppl also have similar stuttering with GTX 560Ti

to people who have the graphics card gtx 560ti from asus: just remove smart doctor and gamer OSD. then reinstall the newest driver and everything will work!

* did you check if there is new bios for your gfx card in asus website ?

* did you check whether you have the same problem with any other game or just battlefield 3 ?

who could have thunk this would come to such an obscure thing :-D take it to service centre.

most probably this might be the case. or if you are still apprehensive if possible borrow a friends gfx card and try in your system. before that have a good look at your pcie slot itself

From 3 days am searching for asus service centre for gc's near my locality but the shopkeeper says that i have to send it outside india (probably china)
One more question that reducing the core clock helped me getting out some clock.. i reduced my GC's core clock from 830 to 730..
I just wanna ask that is it okay to play with core clock reduced... please tell :)
