Anti-virus ------- Avast Home 4.7
Firewall --------- ZoneAlarm 6.5
Anti-spyware---- CounterSpy 1.5

Well , others will strongly disagree with me ......... but this are the best ones right now.......

well i use only Kaspersky Internet Security 6 & ZoneAlarm Pro 7 (fiirewall).

there's no virus/trojan, spyware issues faced.

ZA also has a good Anti-Spyware.

no , its not some dumb post ........... the programs i posted are the official CNET editors BEST RATED programs as of today ...........I just wanted the users to know of the latest best programs official way .. and not some ... user way ...,u know .

i even i use dto use the same combination
i switched to kerio personal firwall
antivirus is the same

I use:

Anti-virus : avast! Home Edition (in both XP & Vista)
Anti-spyware : Windows Defender (in both XP & Vista)
Firewall : Zone Alarm Free (in XP) and in Vista Default Windows Firewall

Antivirus ------- Kaspersky all the way
