I am going to buy hardware for my new pc and have some a question, what would be the best chipset for Core 2 Quad Q9550?

Thanks,

This one's the best available board for core2quad i think:

ASUS Striker II Extreme: *www.asus.com/products.aspx?modelmenu=1&model=2114&l1=3&l2=11&l3=653&l4=0

Price is just 27k :)

Mention your budget if you want correct pointers :)

My budget is around 12k - 15k for the chipset.

get ASUS P5Q Pro for 9k. More than enough. awesome P45 chipset based crossfire enabled board.

If you want to use nvidia cards, for 780i based board.

Isn't ASUS P5Q Deluxe Wifi@N @ 15k a much better option, it has 16 phase CPU power regulation and 3x CrossfireX.

^^ 15k for P456 chipset??? NO way. For that price you can easily get a much superior 780i or X48 or X38 chipset based boards.
