OK NOW I WANT TO UPGRADE MY PLAYER THAT CAN EVEN PLAY DIVX,XVID,MP4 FILES atleast .... (including other general formats)....................supports 5.1..dts...dolby digital.........and can play from pendrive.........2 gb ......4 gb ....8 gb .........

go for onida its good it plays all d format n even u can play from pen drive n even it can transfer files from cd which is playing to d pen drive which is put in d player.........

Saw that model yesterday.. But liked the model DVP 3767(without pendrive).DVp 3767 is coming for around Rs 3k in Delhi.

DVP 3166 can the best for you and at good price..

^^ WHY what is the different in dvp 3767 and 3166 and why is it better

one supports divx will it support xvid..............

I kinda provided the wrong model no. srry for that.

My model is either 3146 or 3136. it plays DivX and has 5.1 ch sound.
but it lacks USB( which I don't want). It was best in my budget(of Rs 3K).

But if you really want USB support and have a budget of Rs 4-5K then you can go for it..

^^ dvp 3166 is also of 3k (confirmed)................ some are selling it at some 2400 - 2900 also ....................mine is showroom price.......... in 5k you can get hd enabled dvd player that can play hd dvd's (1080p)..hdmi,usb and even divx ultra .......philips
