best P2P software

Try utorrent.

my personal favourite.low on resources and good speed.

if u want a torrent client then utorrent is the best.

Azureus i use it.

bitcomet...comes wid emule plugin ..loads quickly, fast...4 public trackers.
Utorrent if u use private trackers

Limewire and Flashget are the best ones available around try them and see yourself

i meant to say somethig of a clone of limewire, and not a torrent client, but not consuming much of the resources.

FrostWire

Ares Galaxy?

tried it dear but still it hangs my internet browser..
what else u can recommend

Azureus

I use Bitcomet.
Haven't tried Utorrent.

man i don't need a torrent client

Ares the best - aresgalaxy.sourceforge.net

use both u-torrent and bitcommet

...that means either u prefer file sharing like rapidshare or u have integrated torrent service with download manager..OR u download "demos or trials or freewares" (NOTE: within quotes) directly 4m download sites(pun not intended again)

ares is the best pal.

But IMO torrents+utorrent makes the best combo.

azureus seems best,
else try deluge torrent:
*deluge-torrent.org/downloads
azureus is available for both lin,win and mac,
deluge too is available for above three OS.

all of you are talking of the torrent clients but i need a p2p clint like:

Acquisition, BearShare, Cabos, Gnucleus, Grokster, iMesh, gtk-gnutella, Kiwi Alpha, LimeWire, FrostWire, MLDonkey, Morpheus, Poisoned, Swapper, Shareaza, XoloX

Adagio, Caribou, Gnucleus, iMesh, Kiwi Alpha, MLDonkey, Morpheus, Shareaza, TrustyFiles
which one to choose frm these.

where is ares?its the best(well after torrents+utorrent combo).

here is the link:*aresgalaxy.sourceforge.net/

BTW why are you so against torrents?

Another vote for utorrent

Utorrent.

LOl people are confuse here , nearly all the people posting here are suggesting Torrent clients that just shows P2P is deead & torrents has taken over anyway , bearshare pro is a very good P2P , i also like ares also would you mind telling why you really need a p2p via PM i mean you can get everything with website + torrent combo... also you mention your browser hangs when you use Ares it could be due to many reasons (spyware, bad browser, virus etc.) so do this checks first, cause i don't encounter any such problems with ares.

Morpheus is great P2P if you like music.

DC++ <--- Best after Limewire.

kazaa-li^e?from my memories it used to be the de-facto p2p some yrs back.

recent versions of kazaa has malware/trojans.

^the kazaa official client is not what i meant

I use utorrent.
u can also use free download manager which now has torrent support...

bro i m using limewire since last two years and m very happy with it !
