BestTV For 30-35k

Guys help me out here, buying a TV tomorrow for grandfather, so let it out, the best one under 35k max(try to keep around 30k).

I'm looking for:

1. 30" or higher.
2. Good viewing angle.
3. Good brightness and contrast ratio.
4. Good after sales support(like samsung and LG).

Optional: Can play some vid files via USB.

Brands I am considering, Phillips, Samsung, LG, Sony, Panasonic.

Now my grandfather has weakness for Phillips(don't ask), so a Phillips tv is welcome.
