A few days back, I created a blog in order to rake in some moolah through Ad-Sense. After creating it, I tried to register it for Ad-Sense. After a day I got this e-mail from Google.
Thank you for your interest in Google AdSense. Unfortunately, after
reviewing your application, we're unable to accept you into Google AdSense
at this time.

We did not approve your application for the reasons listed below.

Issues:

- Unacceptable site content

Adsense generally do not approve new blog. By new, I mean 6 months or younger. Better to try other advertising networks like adbrite, bidvertiser etc etc. Just google "adsense alternative" and you will get loads of other advertising networks.

But each website is personally reviewed before it is approved by any network. So forget about advertisement if you have less than 20-30 meaningful posts. You will get more or less the same denying message from each network.

install feedjit on your blog to see how many traffic you are getting
and believe me you will feel awesome when you see people from
around the world are coming to your blog

and i will say dont signup for any ad services for me it all SUCKS
adbrite : many times script stop responding and browser will hang,

so its better to signup for affiliates and put their banners on your blog...
find some blog/ site friends to exchange links it will sure help you

If you want to advertise your site here, just put a link in your signature. But be sure that the site does not has illegal contents like cracks, keygens, pornography, illegal downloads etc. Or else the link may be removed by a moderator.

But I made a blog just today I made and my blog was accepted the following day. And from the same computer I made my friends too and it was also accepted by the google.
But the technique I used was just quiet simple.
-First Make your blog have 2-3 posts.(From one google account).
-Second Register you to Adsense.(From another google account).
-Post some comments with any name.(Blog Setting>Any one can Post)
-Visit ur own blog without bieng logged in more than 10 time in the very fiirst day when you register for the adsense.
-There is ur very own Adsense account ready.

As easy as eating Apple.
