I need a good mobile phone with bluetooth,irda,torch and the ability to install softwares and the ability to customize the phone to a large extent.

hehe...On a serious note, you can consider HP iPaq + Cheap torch. Thats the best combo which will satisfy your needs. Would come at around 11k or so.

And yes, buy Everready's Mobile torch, it is a cuboid mobile-like torch as the name suggests.....It looks like the Nokia 1100/1108 but it is a bit bigger.......

u can get a 10X better performing torch than Nokia 1100 for about 1k and that is Brightlight ones with lifetime warranty except for battery. Get an L9 or E51 for the remainig money

All SE phones with an LED can be used as a torch..
but most touch and wifi mobiles from SE has xenon flash.
