but heard battery back up of Desire is really crappy. There is even a guy in the forum whose roomy bought Desire from flipkart. He had posted about this particular thing.

It is true, it's battery backup is below par for the already unimpressive battery backups of android phones.

yes. it is really poor. that's why am mentioning to get extra battery pack when someone decides to go for Desire. Apart from the weak battery, it is one heck of a phone for 16.5k

I never heard about problem with battery or display but heard that the earpiece on the phone could develop problems. A.S.S is decent and is definitely better than Samsung's and LG's.

Me too...I've never read about the battery & screen problems of DEFY anywhere!! Almost all the earphones that come along with the phones aint that great!! You can get decent in-ear phones of Soundmagic for 900 bucks.

you can ask soumik for hands-on review, he is using defy
after lot of research he helped me to clear out some doubt
i already order mine from letsbuy waiting for delivery ..
since you are in delhi you will get it in 2days time, since letsbuy are located in delhi.
now about ur queries
1) about earpiece problem heard that Motorola has fixed it (in any case Bluetooth and earphones are there ) ..
2) according to forums in fact battery life is improved after 2.2 upgrade
3) Screen problem (green/blue tint right hand upper corner) fixed long back .. new model screen are too good
4) after sales - tell me which company after sale is good all are same ..
i would suggest you go for defy ..
& if you dont want to do any customisation then go for wildfire S ...
can u tell you more once i get my hands on my defy ..
Thanks

checked at Spice , Defy @ 14k and Desire @ 15.5 k . Can some one throw light on pricing as reliance , chroma and others are selling both models at 4k more . Out of two which one is better for gaming (angry birds) ?

both should perform almost same once you load them with custom roms but spec wise desire is ahead of Defy. but problem with desire is its small battery. if you game, you may have to attach it to wall socket and game.
