Hi all,

i am on the lookout for buying a ultrabook probably in mid 2015.

1) What is your budget? (INR or USD) max 70000 INR

2) What size & weight consideration (if any) would you prefer?

SIZE: 14"
Weight max 2kg

3) What are the primary tasks you will be performing with this notebook?
Office work, presentations, movies and occasional gaming

5) Any typical configuration in your mind you're eying for ?
i5 or AMD A10 chipset with decent GPU
1 TB HDD
no need for SSD

4) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
nothing like that.

6) Anything else you would like to say
min WIn 8
USB 3.0
SD card reader
CD burner would be icing on the cake

Screen resolution 1080p (Full HD)
Battery back up (extended (5-7hrs) )
Purchase place ( Local shops -INDIA, )

I am willing to wait for till mid 2015 if some good machines are lined up for launch
regards,

@OP wants occasional gaming too. not sure if macbook in his budget is powerful enough to run last 1-2 year's games properly.

if op wants it "probably in mid 2015", isn't it better for him to enquire in the first quarter of 2015? imo, by then the price & configs will change considerably.

Yeah I know but ultra-books are basically not meant for gaming and since he is seeking one I guess he is not into gaming on a bigger scenario.

I don't know I find 2013 mac book air 13'' to be a good deal for 61k. But i am yet to find any particular good ultrabook in this budget since people buying ultrabooks tends to shift away to macbooks and now companies are loosing interest in the so called ultrabook term coz of this.

Next time before playing, make sure it's in the real world and not in the dream world.
