Buying advice - wi-fi router

Hello all,

I am using BSNL BB with wired modem since 5 years. Now I wanted my mobiles to get connected to my BB.
So which wi-fi router should I get ?

With modem or without (as I already having a wired one !1)

I am confused. :-?
what is the use of wi-fi router without modem ??

Please suggest.

My budget is 2k.

if you have a wired modem all you need is a wifi router.getting adsl wifi modem is simpler because then you have to install & configure just one device compared to a wired modem+wifi router.modem is only needed for adsl broadband connections(those requiring telephone line) & for all other connections like cable broadband only a wifi router is needed.

BTW I have ordered This

The model u suggested I guess it's without modem, So I thought to get rid of my wired modem & go all the way for wifi+ADSL.. it will reduce the wiring also.

if its not too late & can extend budget a bit cancel it & get this instead which is much better:

Only usb support.. Whats more better ?

3g usb modem support & EWAN port which makes it easier to configure with cable broadband connections but main advantage is 3g usb modem support.

I don't have any 3g modem. So not worth. Anyways thanks.
