I have an old desktop system (CPU, PS2 keyboard & mouse, monitor damaged) with 2 GB RAM, Windows 10 (activated), 80 GB HDD, an old Intel Processor (don't know which model but it is not from Intel i Series). I am in need of a desktop computer. I would like to have 12 or 16 GB RAM (for Android Development, using emulators like LD Player which mostly need a processor upgrade & graphics card). Need to purchase monitor min 18 inch, For additional HDD space can I use it from a laptop whose condition is mentioned here What to do with partially damaged laptop Which is less costly? Upgrading this desktop or buying new assembled PC? If you need more information to answer, please let me know.

Your old desktop is not good enough.
