Without FHD,
HP DV6 6121TX
i7 2630QM
4GB
640GB
HD6770M 2GB
768p
Rs52000

FHD
Dell XPS
i7 2630QM
4GB
500GB
GT540M
1080p
Rs67000 (It varies based on what you select like Backlit KB, Softwares etc. Check Dells site)

HP performs 40-50% better in games and much cheaper. Dell has a much better screen (1080p) and sound.

HD6770M performs better than a 540m
no use buying dell as they have a option of 2 gpu and both suck

Agreed. FHD is the only lure.

Really wish HP would give us FHD and customization like they do in the US.

Seen benchmarks against HD6770M?
6770M performs as good as the 555M.

So that means that 540M suck ?

You guys really need to learn how use these words properly !

You dont use the word suck when you use relatively !

You don't USE relatively either.....

And 540M doesn't play all games at high, its not VFM so it sucks. FU.

If you can live with older gen i5, I would suggest MSI GX660 with 1GB 5870 GDDR5, available for 57.5K+taxes

The nvidia GT540m is Wayy weaker than the ATIs 6770m.It cannot play the current games at native resolution i.e 1366x768 at ultra settings whereas 6770m does it with ease.So The 6770m is more of a futeproof card for laptops in india at the native resolution of 1366x768 at least for 2 more years.

This is the normal HD (1366x768) model, right? Do you know the price of full HD model with i5 480,blu ray & 8gb ram.I got a quote of around 72k for that.
