Hi,

I'm an architect and I'm looking for CAD/ Design 3d modelling software running on Win/ Linux and based on Open Source.... any suggestions pls...!!

I am not familiar at all with CAD/CAM but see if this helps *www.linux.org/apps/all/Graphics/CAD/CAM.html
You can also search on sourceforge.net

try python cad available at:

a very useful tool. it can also be used as a standalone app sometimes.
