Hi

I had downloaded a game via torrent and have kept it on my pc. When I tried to copy it to the pen drive it shows that the software is big as compared to the pen drive. The software is a packed game in DVD format of 4 gb and space available on pen drive is 7 gb Free.

Pls tell why is this error.

format the pendrive as NTFS instead of FAT or FAT32. 4 GB is the limitation of the FAT32 file system.

And if not interested in NTFS you can also format it to be exFat. Fat32 is only use for the purpose of transferring files with less than 4 GB size.

what Saiyan Goku said. FAT32 can't hold more than 4GB files. (but still is widely used)

FAT32 can't transfer a file bigger than 4GB in one time. It can hold more than 4 gb anytime.

Take a backup and format pen drive and try again.
