cheapest configuration possible???

i am building a pc (after 12 yrs) for a bit of evrything viz. internet, gaming bla bla bla.....already have a philips 5.1 speaker system and 32 inch monitor.....

jus need the motherboard n CPU n a low powered graphics card...........i am mainly interested in getting 2nd hand products

had a couple of options......please tell whether it is fine or not -

i have almost forgot what other components r essential apart from ram n smps.......

^buddy tell your budget. which psu, cabinet you have?

and its better to not to buy a pc then spend on those components you mentioned.

12 years is a lot.
I recommend you to buy new components(except keyboard mouse if you dont want :wink:

The fan comes with the processor

brand and model of psu please?

That Sempron and GF6200 is not worth having for any amount of money. BTW, what's your present config?

12 years definitely means PII/III or their AMD counterparts. Gosh I was not even bothered about computers at that time.

had the same proc but with 16mb ram n 1gb 6hdd.....with windows 3.1 ruunning on it
