COD5 problems please help

Hey guys i am facing a problem with cod5
whenever i start the game it starts but whenever i click on new game it pops up the difficulty selection window. But nothing happens even after i click on any difficulty level........
please help me guys
my config is
Pentium D 2.8 Ghz
2 gb DDR2 ram
8400GS

its game problem.. your files might be corrupted.. try a reinstall .. was it runnung at first ?

never ran....already installed twice.......
is it the issue that i have a 2.8 Ghz proccy n it asks for a 3 ghz proccy??????

man exams got over yesterday n today i cant play......imagine how i must be feeling

no its not.. try ocing a bit then also..

Was the internet connection ON while starting this game? If yes then try running it with the internet connection turned OFF.
