^^ At this budget, AMD is best :)

And the printer can cost around 3k(not quite sure) so either cut off from somewhere else(mobo or GFX card) or extend your budget. :) :)

No, No, put it this way: at this budget, AMD is the Only option. Especially considering the fact that he also needs a printer and scanner.

A low cost Inkjet printer+scanner will cost about 3k. That leaves ~27k for the PC. Remove 6k for an 18.5" monitor, speaker, keyboard and mouse and that leaves you with less than 21k for the rest of the PC.

I'm sure that shopkeepers will easily build you an Intel Core2duo based PC for that price. But the fact remains that it is an outdated processor and AMD Athlon II X4 640 @ 3.0 Ghz is a much better option. And with the 880G chipset motherboard, graphics performance will also be up to the mark for Windows 7

Look for all-in-one like HP 2050 - 3.7K or Canon MP287 - 4K..

Canon is better option than HP due to poor after sellls service provided by HP.

Then HP is the best bet here.
