CONTINOUS GAMING!! · DIGIT-ARC

I have read many reports of continous gaming in foreign countries....so i was wondering how many hours gaming forum members have indulged in and in which game? I have played many games continously and max i can play a game continously is for 10 hrs continously on holidays and games which i played is a big list as i usually like to play only 1 game on given day and continously play it till its time for other work or sleeping time.......
1. PES 5
2. Total club manager 2005
3. Rome Total War
4. COD .............etc
5. Counter strike these all games i found very addictive to complete a task and i kept playing and playing with no sense of time......

Please do share ur experiences fo continous gaming

D

I don't really remember how long I've gone with one particular one, but I do remember that my eyes were red and sore after I got up

. But seriously, it was from 8PM to 11:30AM the next day, and it was NFS: UG. At that time, the underground/tuner scene seemed just so cool...

I and my friend used to play commandos beyond enemy lines for hours

. and that to during exams. i played like 6 hrs at a stretch. i remeber i had exam at 9 am and we played till 4 AM. sadly i flunked the exam

I have played for 23 hrs continuous. I had my lunch dinner while playing, not on a computer but the Sega 16 bit that I got on rent for a day. My right hand thumb was swollen after continuous tapping of the controller.
I had long sessions of gaming when I got my first computer.
I play at most 2 hrs a session these days, not more than that, even If the game is too addictive.

I have played for bout 8 Hrs continously for

1 ) HALO

2) Need For Speed : Most Wanted

very addictive !!!!!!!!!!!!!

V

I played Call of Duty for 7 hrs straight and next day, I finished the game within 3-4 hours.

U were half dead then

CAuse a man who died playing games plaed for 48 hrs

Not half dead , I was half idiot (havin sega genesis home for one day was the biggest joy for me that time

)
and the man who played for 48 hrs was full idiot , and then ppl blame games for such incidents , u will die even if u study for 48 hrs. blame studies then

. nothing is good if done excessively.

M

tarey_g even has a avatar of a dead man hanging.
As for me the most I've played is beneath a steel sky for 4 hours yesterday.
I know its not a big popular games like you'll have played but with my system it is the best I can get and I am not that avid a gamer + no pirated softwares on my computer.

My longest gaming session is about 14 hours on my Xbox - from 6 AM to 8 PM, though including bathroom and meal breaks. It was when I had just bought the Xbox and couldn't get enough of Halo: CE.

My longest non-stop gaming session is of about 8 hours - from 10 PM to 6 AM the next day. I played my then favourite game Max Payne on the PC. I finished the game twice during the session.

).Since Mario and Contra were My heart Favourite games back then I couldnt get enough of them. The next after that I belive was roughly a 12 Hour session with The Mummy on the Playstation with My Cousin Brother.

I played POP WW for almost 18 hrs this weekend and finished it as i had left it unfinished for two months as i didn't get time.
I will play splinter-cell pandora tomorrow, from now on. I remember soaking up on terminator TV Videogame consoles for days during my annual holidays in school times.. those were fun times

The max. I played was 13 hours non-stop(no bio-breaks too) for Jagged Alliance 2. No other game engaged me so much....

Call of duty :> 9hrs continueous
MS combat filght simulator:> 6.5 hrs (the the game got over !!!)

FIFA 06 Nine hours. from 9:30PM to 5:30AM next day. 7-8 hours is really common.

EXHAUSTIVE LIST

i am a game addict. nothing gives me more high than games. OK here goes my list, may not be in chronological order, i am typing them as they come to my mind.

and i am not boasting either. 8) but these addictive games were finished in a single seating i.e from waking up till going to bed (of course all necessary breaks included), count the hours yourself

dude if you refered NFS MW as simulation game, then you're wrong, its a Arcade Racing Game

back to topic, i played
- GTA VC, GTA SA each for 4-5 hours non-stop

-F1 '99-'02 in Championship mode (race lenght set to 50%) for more than 6 hours :))

-& ofcourse NFS Porsche Unleashed (only Simulation game of NFS), this too more than 6 hours :))

actually i tried to complete the "Factory Driver" Missions, i started playing it @ 10 pm & by the time i finshed it, it was 4am

(i didnt even notice the time :))

)

-Colin McRae 05, championship mode - for 7+hours straight, with heavy damage

my gaming spree lasted abt 23~24 hrs continuously! (no food, no water that day). i ended up vomiting the next day, and slept for like 14 hrs..

Diablo 2 LoD (BNet) 12+
DOOM3 6+
CnC Generals 2+
Paratroopers (old DOS game) 3+
Wolf3D (old one!) 3+
... "splat" (puke)

after i started Counter-Strike, i used to average abt 7 hrs a day
(max was abt 16 hrs continuous, that included 4 hrs of CnC-G:ZH.. kind of a multiplayer spree)

(this was only till i got my many many supplis, and that was it!)

gaming is so much fun!
(esp. when it is multiplayer!)

Cheers!

I am not a gaming freak....sometimes manage to play continuously upto 3 hrs max.

min 4hrs... max 8 hrs...
cs/dota/wc3/max payne/painkiller/farcry n others..

12.5 hours playing Ceaser 3, The game was awfully hard.

I had a marathon Tekken session with my friend and roommate back when I was at University in Australia. We started at 5 pm on Friday evening and finished at 11 am the next day...so thats what? 17 hours?? Hmm...I ended up beating him by a margin of like 70 games though!

6hrs (2:30 PM to 8:30 PM) when I was playing Ceaser III for the first time.

i daily play 2 hours a day

GTA Vice City for 5 Hrs. Thats the max I got

I played Underground for more than 12 hrs at stretch many a times..Drift was my fav race..many times I used to restart the even after winning it..

^GTR2 mil gaya kya???

drift in that & you'll call NFS is for NOOBs

(NO Offence to any NFS gamer, i'm too a hardcore NFS fan, but it really sucks now, b'coz of its OVERDOSED arcadish gameplay)

^^^Nahi yaar..laziness u knw..itani documentaries download me laga rakhi hain ki agar GTR2 lagaya to room mates jinda nahi chhorenge..Unhe bhi Bandwidth me hisaa chahiye apna

__________
Yes U can say that its kind of overdosed but Problem is that I dnt have alternatives..I cant play FPS...so only option left is either some sports game or racing...or sometimes pool

do u like pool?

i like it, but only when i'm completely bored

with racing & gta

.

try Colin McRae 04 or 05, you can play with FOUR guys at once (split screen), but better have 4 gamepads

, or the keyboard will need replacement

15hrs(09:00 to 12:00 pm)when I was playing UT-04 with my friends on the LAN.

I daily play 1 hrs UT-04 and 2hrs NFS-Carbon
