Hi friends,
I have DELL monitor (20 inch LED IN2020M) and GPU Sapphire 6850-1gb.
There is DVI port and HDMI port at back of CPU. There is VGA and DVI port at back of monitor.
Currently am connecting my monitor via its VGA port to DVI port of CPU via converter. Can I connect CPU to monitor via HDMI port (of CPU) TO DVI port of monitor?
If yes---how?
Is it going to increase clarity as compared to my current connections?
Thanks

^^ am i missing something or you meant vga port?
nevertheless connect your moniter viag the dvi port by means of a dvi to dvi cable OR conenct via a hdmi(at ur gfx card end) to a dvi (at ur moniter end) cable/converter.
DVI and HDMI have the same image quality as yes its superior to your VGA analog display connection.

IF DELL has not provided a dvi to dvi cable purchase one in your local market, the better of the chinese ones come in at about 280 for a 1.5m cable and are pretty decent.

Cheers!
