Current CPU : Sempron single core 1800

Usage : Office 2013 /win8.1 /Britinica Encyclopedia /Educational Softwares /Linux (academic purpose)/

[BUDGET] Below 6k ( LOWER THE BETTER )

Note : From the Supported CPU List i shortlisted Pheonom II x4 / FX Processor ( kindly suggest which cheap Good CPU should i go with ?

Purchase [ Prefer Offline - (Its for friend) (online will be last opinion

Note : I he said he not planning to upgrade the PC for another few years (no gaming , mainly for educational purpose and online Net ) ( Currently using single core 1.8ghz i can see cpu peeking 100% while using Firefox or Chrome or while playing some videos

Some more detail on the PSU he is currently using such as RAM, PSU,HDD......

Sata 3 HDD 500GB(working in sata2mode)
Ram 1Gb DDR2(mobo support DDR3 ram also(might upgrade in future)

500w local smps (not planning to upgrade smps currently)

Sell ur current processor, motherboard and RAM and increase the budget by 3k and buy this :
Intel g3220 -3.5k
Gigabyte GA-H61M-DS2-3.1k
Corsair value select RAM-2.5k
Total-9.1k

Current CPU is AMD Sempron 64 LE-1100 -
AMD Sempron 64 LE-1100 - SDH1100IAA3DE (SDH1100DEBOX)

Kindly Suggest some in Amd Family ( Note -use is education Software and Net and Movies Only -DVD)
