Croma 8GB pen drive showing write protected while formating

I had bought a 8GB pen drive from Croma retail around 2 months ago. Yesterday I tried to format it, the message was ' The disk is write protected '. While there is no any button/switch like SD card adapters.

hi there bro download and install any disk management software and run deep format on your pendrive this method works for my friend hope it will help you too.

Scan with good updated AV then try to format it.

@ OP - try to format the pen drive using another pc just to be sure that the PD is OK.

Linux, load a bootable CD and format it from there.

just dload hp usb formstter and format it with ntfs...
