Hey all... me havin winXP so couldn't play crysis in very high settings as dey had been disabled and required vista, or so i thought..
goto \Program Files\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis\Game\Config\CVarGroups directoryand open each of the cfg files and copy (or edit) all options under [4] to [3]..
then start crysis and in option set all to high.. automatically all settings will be set to very high... make a backup of all your cfg files just in case...

Goto www.tweakguides.com to optimise crysis/crysis warhead. One hell of a site for tweaking all famous games. Its got Doom 3, FEAR, Far Cry, Stalker, Quake 4 etc etc

Yup, used a few console commands and did wonders to my FPS. The cheap dx9 very high version rocks too.

try some of the mods out there and if you can, tweak the hell out of the game to get as much performance as possible(I did :) )

Well they some do in a few ways which are not readily apparent, though with your system I'd recommend the texture packs,I tried it but I run out of VRAM and system ram as well :-(.
