whenever,I open a office 2003 documents,an annoying warning noted below appears.

"This application nis about to initiate active x control that might be unsafe..."

on clicking either ok or cancel, the documents opens.

how to get rid of this annoyance.

I am using a preloaded windows 7 in my new notebook.

I am not using Norton.

I use K7 antivirus.

I could not find any similar settings in K7.

My notebook originally came with a preinstalled trial version of norton.

However,I have uninstalled the same after the trial version and installed the paid K7.

I hadc checked tools>security>Macrosecurity as suggested by you and found nothing.

the problem is there everytime I open a word document from my system or from the net.

How to troubleshoot problems that occur when you start or use Word 2010, Word 2007, Word 2003, or Word 2002

it has not helped to remove the warning.

the security level at tools-options-macro security is set to low only.

or do you suggest the setting anywhere else?
