Dos mode in XP?

Hi beaditya ,

Go to Run ,
Type Cmd
press enter

an u are there in the dos mode

u can even create a dos startup disk
go to explroer
right click on floppy
clcik on format
check the "creade MS-DOS startup disk"
click on Format

You want to boot to DOS mode so that you can run ghost. If you are having a ghost floppy then what expertno1 is fine but if you run ghost from a cd then you have to get a windows98 bootable floppy or cd for the cdrom drivers to load.

i think the digit cds are bootable isn't it ?

or if not then you could try to make such a bootable cd by using nero or by using easy cd creator

they have the option to create bootable cds
