Then mean the size of vista is the same as like beta(2.4 g.b)??? Know i have 9 in 1 windows xp in that i have home, professional, media center edition with their service pack's when i extract it come's around 4 gb.But with out extraction also i can run it from cd and install any os we wish. How do they make like this 9 in 1 dvd into single cd ?And with these the cd also bootable one.Likewise is it possible in vista one DVD into one Cd.

hmm i feel its too early to say anything. but seeing the features and looks of Vista, it seems it will be a DVD only OS.

rajas that topic has been discussed earlier
its called multilinking
the files are present only once .. but they are linked 9 times for each os version ..

but when u extract.. due to the linking they are extracted as 4gb .. and also the properties show 4gb

search a lil harder
