i use eagleget or FDM for downloading files from internet but recently both have started to download html files instead of the real files . What is the problem and what should i do to solve it????

Reinstalling might help. Some settings might have messed up.

Where are you trying to download from ? It is possible that something is there on the code side of that particular website allowing only access to web page, instead of media file.

dowloading works perfectly fine with chrome's downloader.
Better, ask in EagleGet suppport forum.
I tried in FDM (version 3.9.7.1632 portable) by manually adding the link and was perfectly working.
Try to install chrome extension for FDM to directly capture the original download link.
Which version you are using ?

Did you try downloading individual file by right clicking & copying the link location & then adding it to FDM manually?
