I have two 256 Mb Hynix DDR 333 ram installed in a dual channel mode. I like to know if i can add another non Hynix 256 Mb DDR 266 ram.

U can add another set of two identical sticks say 2x256 266 non hynix in the second set of slots. But ur effective speed comes down to the lowest speed ram, ie 266. So efffective become 2x266 ~533 (damn from where did dat 1 come from??)

U cannot add 2 sticks in dual channel mode......they have to be alike....
but u can put them in single channel.....but it will run at the speed of the slower module..
