My friend is planning to buy a new phone. His budget is 10k but may be can go up to 12k if worth it. Dual sim is really important for him. So far I've come up with these phones
1. XOLO Q700
2. Galaxy core I8262
3. Galaxy s duos S7562
4. Micromax canvas 2 A110

Which one would be a better choice? I think Micromax screen being 5" would be difficult to handle. Is there any better option?
Thanks for reading,

Xolo Q700 is a VFM phone.

Galaxy core & S Duos are laggy......
Canvas 2 is old now

Some good options for ~12k:
Sony Xperia M Dual vs XOLO Q1000 vs Huawei Ascend G610 vs XOLO Q900: Compare Mobiles: Flipkart.com

Some cheaper options:
XOLO Q700i vs XOLO Q700 vs XOLO Q800 X-Edition: Compare Mobiles: Flipkart.com

Xperia M Dual is the best in terms of performance & has brand value, so better after sale service.
Among others Xolo Q900 is a good phone. 4.7" display is of perfect size for many (I personally feel 5" is not for me, I have used Grand & Canvas 2)
Xolo Q700i is good, if you want even cheaper phone.

I've been using Canvas 2 for a year now and it's pretty good for the money. The only problem is that I can't install big games because the internal memory is low. But, ofcourse you can root your phone and install games to external sd card.

But, just today Motorola announced Moto G for Indian market which will be released early January. The specs seem very good and for the price it's a MUST BUY. So, wait for another 2 months and buy MOTO G.

Based on the US Price it will be around 11k for 8GB model and 12.5k for 16GB model. Since, it is aimed towards emerging markets, I don't expect the price to go beyond 12.5K.

The Nexus 4 16 GB is $349= Rs21,700 but is priced at Rs23,000-Rs24,000 approx in India (after drastic price cut)
The Moto G Dual Sim 16GB is $199 = Rs12,400 , so i guess Moto G will be somewhere between Rs14,000-Rs15,000 (launch price so it will be high)

Moto G wont fit in 12k go grab Q900 or M Dual.
if you are ready to spend 2k more then get moto g( much better then all phones suggested above)

^ sounds impossible as $179 + taxes will atleast go up to 13k for 8GiB model.
Whatever if it comes at pricetag of 11k it would be totally killer one.
