Is there any app for Android that can prompt me about DVD release of Hollywood movies I choose to watch ?
DVD Release alert
DVD release in India? I doubt India is a huge market for people who legitimately purchase DVDs of movies.
I would suggest that you simply search on Amazon or Flipkart on regular intervals to purchase your DVDs than go through the cesspool of scammy apps on the Play store.

I just want to know if the DVD is released, worldwide. That's all.
I don't know about App, but VideoETA - The best source for Blu-ray and DVD release date has subscription for email alerts on releases.
I used this app.. unreleased yet.. you can try
