I recently bought a sony rewritable dvd (4.7gb). its written "1X-2X compatible." in the cover of that dvd.... it means that the disc can't be written at a speed above 2X - eh?.. now please suggest a software to write this dvd at 2x (i'm using power iso)
Yes, DVD can be written at max speed of 2x.. There are plenty of software's like..
Paid :: Nero,roxio,Ashampoo
Free :: Imgburn ,Ashampoo free version. nero free version..
Is it so ? Not that it supports even 1 - 2 X ?
AFAIK a DVD+R/-R has maximum write speed of 24X
@curioustechy: use the burning apps as suggested above
DVD+R/-R has max speed of 24x max(very few brands mostly premium) others 16x max
Dvd RW has max speed of 4x max (good Brands) others are just 2x max
DVd dual layer 8x max (good brands) other brands 2.4x max
