Although no timelines have been identified by Apple themselves, the distributers have stopped supplying stores with stocks of iPhone 4 and they seem to be running short. Several iPhone distributers have confirmed that a new model of the iPhone will launch in November and have told stores to pass on the information to the customer. Now if this is the new 4s or the cheaper iPhone 4 remains to be seen, although if a cheaper iPhone 4 is launched it should be backed by a higher price iPhone 4s.

I doubt it will be that way, Today only a Reputed Times Group Newspaper has quoted that the iPhone-4S could be officially available in India as late as Jan-2012.

Like the initially flawed iPhone 4 with its glaring death-grip flaw or antenna issues, it looks like the recently launched iPhone 4S is suffering from its own performance issues, such as a low battery life. While the fix of the issue is much simpler this time around, and will probably just require a software or resource management patch, it appears to be affecting a large fraction of customers, with more than a thousand posts on the issue up on Apple’s support forums.

Not too long after the first reports of an iPhone 4S battery life issue appeared on its support forums, Apple has acknowledged the problem to be bugs in the new iOS 5 operating system. Affected users aren’t just iPhone 4S owners, but the owners of the other iOS devices that are compatible with the platform – iPhone 4 and 3GS, iPad 1 and 2, and the latest iPod Touch. They can expect a fix in the coming weeks, when the fruity giant will release an update for the mobile OS.
