Need suggestion for cross-platform app for expense/money management.
Currently using Money View, but does not have any web interface to write expenses from computer software or website.
It becomes little difficult typing all expenses daily on mobile.
Can anyone suggest app?
Thank you.

I have heard about indwealth. Google reviews are filled of people who say it's very privacy intrusive though and don't know if web interface is available for it.
But I think you can look at it.

Main features required are
1. import CSV Excel files
2. Web interface to edit data

I found these apps but..

Money Manager (+PC Edit)
*play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.realbyteapps.moneya
- No import feature

Money Manager : Expense Tracker
*play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=vitalypanov.personalaccounting.pro
  • All features are there only UI is worst. (Tried old mod version)
  • Only Web Edit feature missing but import available.

Need some more suggestions..

Need suggestion before buying this app? App is currently on sale. (Lowest price till date, tracked using Play Store price tracker)
*play.google.com/store/...lypanov.personalaccounting.pro
Is it good enough?
Only app with import function.
Is there any better app?

App with pc editing but import function missing.

Hi! It's not free anymore :( I missed the giveaway! The price is 330/- so I am still interested in this.

Does anyone have any experience with this? I am currently just logging my everyday expenses in Google Sheets on monthly basis. Slightly bothersome since I want to see expenses for particular category for last 6 months but can't do so.

Track using this.
Interface is not good compared to all others, but have all features compared to others.

Also, did you find your expense manager app or still looking?

I needed web interface for easy managing and viewing expenses.
Like this app
*play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.realbyteapps.moneya
But it doesn't have import function, and I think it's overpriced.

What kind of import feature you are looking for?

I am using moneyview from long time.
*play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.whizdm.moneyview.loans
Now it became loan app, and searching and editing old entries is very difficult from the app. I want to backup/export all entries and restore/import to other app. (Editing that excel file is necessary while importing to other app)
And managing and viewing expenses from web based interface is great feature.

Hi! Thank you for tagging me! Just now came to this thread. I missed the sale again. Although I went through some reviews now, the apps seems to be lacking some basic feature like editing past expenses, which I often do. So I will pass this app. Please keep this thread updated with good options you come across.

Have you used this app?
How does it fare against Money Manager(Realbyte Inc.) you were using earlier? I am using this app since the beginning of the year and liking it.
*play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=vitalypanov.personalaccounting.pro

I'm using this one. Got it free.
And I didn't find any other. Others are nowhere near if you compare features.
Little complex UI. But you will get used to it.

As of now the price is so high.
Wait for the right price around ₹470 or wait for the 100% off.

Have any of you tried GNUKhata? It's certified by Govt. of Kerala apparently and supports Indian financial concepts.

I am hearing first time about it. Will check how it is.

Apparently GNUKhata is for business accounting and not personal accounting.

Perhaps a better tool would be GNUCash or KMyMoney.

Lol no.

It's a KDE project: *kmymoney.org/

You can find all features here: *kmymoney.org/screenshots.html though I haven't tried it myself I plan on doing so in a few days.

I'm quite heavily invested in hledger these days. It comes with an optional TUI and a WebUI as well. The only problem, I haven't been able to find a good companion mobile app for it.

Looks like KMyMoney doesn't have mobile versions either.

Anyone have used Actual Budget? If yes, what are the downsides compare to other apps like Expense Manager?
