Satellite means "side" (L-R) speakers that produce higher frequencies. In a 2.1 system ,you have one sub-woofer, and 2 satellites.

If you are looking for 2.1 system, I can suggest you this, as I own one- F&D F203G. The only negative point I can say that the rear connector is naked wire (old system). other than that its good VFM. If you can increase your budget go for F&D A520.

It becomes too big for laptop.You could refer these Logitech Stereo Speakers Z110 for size.

Please review F&D V560 Speakers.

Yes thats my lappy. It has 2xusb2.0 ports,1xusb3.0 port.

You have mentioned ASUS X536SC-SX492D and LOL it took me around 2 days to search for this one. Atlast i found it today.
