Perhaps use some extension to disable autoplay for videos.

Use add-ons like ublock origin and other privacy centered plugins.. Or you can browse the mobile sites via m dot Facebook dot com or mbasic dot Facebook dot com if you really want to save some bandwidth

Why looking for extension when FB already has settings to enable/disable autoplay for videos.
