Feedback for my site's new design?

Hey,

I've just redesigned the theme my blog uses. It's been a while on the old color scheme so I decided to redo everything. I spent about 24 hours in all, making sure everything works.

However, as it is with all softwares / web apps, there's something weird or missing. So, I'm trying to get some feedback on the new design. Tell me how do you find it! Good? Sucks? Pathetic? Awesome? Let me know

The site now integrates Asides, though with a different approach than what Ma.tt suggests. I'm hosting the site on (mt) MediaTemple and tracking the stats through Mint.

I'm not trying to troll here, just need to know if anything is amiss or out of place.

looks good but that color combination is not cool.

The brownish background looks like a miss-fit

Otherwise it is simplistic and easy on the eyes

The colour scheme looks too sleepy to me...

Made a small change to the background. I kinda like the color scheme a lot.

Hey it was only my opinion! It's your site and if that's the colour scheme you like, then let it be!

why u made the blog description only to appear on mouse hover ?

What blog description? The thing on top in the header? That's just for the heck of it.

I like it. But you don't really have to moderate comments.

I don't. Akismet does. I marked 117 "Spam" comments from the time I last checked it 23 hours back.

P.S: The comment only enters moderation queue if you've never commented before
